I made this birthday card for one of my dh's workers. She is the only women working with a bunch of guys. At the companie's Christmas Dinner we were talking about birthdays and she mentioned that her birthday, Jan 5, is usually not thought of. I just want to let her know that even though she has a birthday close to Christmas, she is being thought of on her birthday. So, when I told my dh, he decided to get a cake for her too. I hope she has a special day.
My card started out being inspired by
this card, but I did not completely want to CASE it. So I fumbled for awhile with what to do with these flowers. I went to SCS to get more inspiration and came across SC155. I enjoy doing these challenges and had not come around to using this one.
